A Word from the vicar
In looking forward to Christ the King; the prophet said: The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and they will call Him Immanuel which means, “GOD WITH US.” (Matt. 1 vs. 22-23).
As we look to celebrate Jesus’ birth this year, it seems especially important to emphasise He is ‘God with us’, as many have struggled with different feelings of isolation over the last couple of years.
Our prayer then, this December, is that we and those we care for will know JESUS as ‘God with us’ afresh or for the first time, through all that is going on amongst us.
autumn Sermons - welcoming the kingdom of god
Our new vision statement ends ‘So that God’s Kingdom grows’, but what is the Kingdom of God?
We have unpacked and begun to embrace that vision; how then can we see God’s Kingdom grow amongst us?
Joins us as we unpack this between September and December in church or catch up on our YouTube Channel.
